Mr. Robert Klugman

Council Member Biography

Rob Klugman has consulted in the beer industry since retiring as Global Chief Strategy Officer from Molson Coors in 2005. Mr. Klugman joined Coors in 1979 and served in a number of senior roles there including heading Marketing (1981-87 and 1990-1993), International (1987-1990 and 2002-2003), and Corporate Strategy and M&A (1987-1990 and 1993-2005). In his M&A role, he led the company's acquisition of "Carling," the UK's #2 brewers and its merger with Molson. Mr. Klugman founded Coors' Distributor Network function in 1994 and headed this area as well until the Molson Coors merger in 2005. He consulted to Molson Coors through the Miller-Coors Brewing Co. merger in mid 2008. Mr. Klugman now consults to various beer suppliers and wholesalers and serves as a Senior Advisor at First Beverage Group, a company that provides financing to and invests in beverage companies.
