Robert Schweitzer is President of Shay Investment Services, an institutional investment advisor to banks, insurance companies and pension funds. Prior to joining Shay, he was the Regional President of Northwest Savings Bank(Equinox Bank). He joined Equinox as CEO when it was facing regulator enforcement actions and a cancellation of a merger agreement. He revamped bank operations and problem loans, and successfully negotiated a merger agreement with Northwest. Prior, he was Regional President of Union Planters Bank, responsible for Commercial/Real Estate/Mortgage/Small Business Lending, Private and Retail Banking. He was also EVP of Corporate Banking at Bank of America/Barnett Bank. He led the Real Estate Consulting practice at Coopers & Lybrand and served as SVP for Wachovia and VP at First National Bank of Chicago, where he spearheaded a new Credit Process Review Group and later led commercial real estate lending. He chairs a bank board as well as PetMeds, a NASDAQ traded company. (This is me - Update Profile)
