Ron Manners is an Executive Chairman of Mannwest Group, a firm providing consultancy in the mining industry. He has more than 50 years of involvement with Australia's resource and property industries. He was the Founder and Chairman of Croesus Mining, which produced over 1.25 million ounces of gold and was the Founding Chairman of DeGrey Mining. Mr. Manners maintains his interest in the resource industry as a Fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, & as a Fellow of the Australian Inst. of Co. Directors. He is also an active investor, Emeritus Chairman, and patron of the Australian Mining Hall of Fame, the $25 million project completed as part of Australia's Centenary of Federation celebrations in 2001. In 2005 he was inducted as a Mining Legend at the Excellence in Mining & Exploration Conference and in 2008 has become a Patron of that organisation. Mr. Manners is serving as the Chairman of Mannkal Economic Education Foundation. In 2010 he was appointed to the Board of Overseers for the Atlas Economic Research Foundation, Washington, DC.
