Russel Huang, MD, is an orthopaedic spine surgeon at the Hospital for Special Surgery, and Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Weill Medical College of Cornell University and New York-Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Huang’s clinical interests are minimally invasive surgical techniques, lumbar stenosis, disc herniation, spinal cord compression, scoliosis, spondylolisthesis, disc replacement, and nonfusion technologies. He has published and lectured extensively on topics such as lumbar stenosis, disc herniation, intervertebral disc replacement, spine fusion, and cervical myelopathy. Dr. Huang's research funding has included grants from National Institutes of Health (NIH) and Orthopedic Research and Education Foundation. He is the recipient of many awards including the Cervical Spine Research Society J. William Fielding Award, the Cervical Spine Research Society Traveling Fellowship Award, and the Orthopaedic Research and Education Foundation Research Award. (This is me - Update Profile)
