Council Member Biography

Scot Bradley Glasberg, MD, is a Cosmetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgeon in private practice in New York. Dr. Glasberg is also on the Attending Staff at Lenox Hill, Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospitals and Associate Chief of Plastic Surgery at Englewood Hospital and Medical Center. He holds numerous positions within national, regional, and local medical and specialty societies and sits on the Executive Commiittee and Board of Directors for the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS). Dr. Glasberg is currently the Vice President of Finance and Treasurer for both the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Plastic Surgery Foundation. He is past Chair of the Council on State Affairs in Plastic Surgery, past Chair of PlastyPAC and Immediate Past Chair of Government Affairs of ASPS. Dr. Glasberg has also represented the American Medical Association in official capacities. He is Past President of the New York Regional Society of Plastic surgeons. He presents and lectures at national, regional, and local societies and has published numerous articles on various aspects of plastic surgery. Dr. Glasberg has frequently appeared in the media offering expert opinions on Plastic Surgery issues; He has appeared on shows such as The CBS Early Show, Good Morning America and CNN's Paula Zahn Show. Dr. Glasberg has strong relationships with industry and corporations within the biomedical device marketplace. He is intimately involved in their research and development.
