Mr. Scott Carnahan

Council Member Biography

Scott Carnahan is Principal at Carnahan Black Pearl, an accounting consulting firm. He also serves on the Board of Directors at PennyMac, a small public REIT based in California. He was previously Partner in the Structured Finance Group and National Director of Advisory Services with KPMG. Mr. Carnahan has more than 24 years of experience serving the financial services industry. He has advised numerous financial institutions, including finance companies, mortgage bankers, mortgage REITs, insurance companies, banks and brokerage clients in the mortgage, credit card, consumer, auto, student loan, franchise and home equity lending, and leasing industries. Mr. Carnahan has also assisted financial institutions in the analysis and execution of mortgage and asset-backed securities issuances totaling over $2 trillion. Mr. Carnahan is a regular speaker at various asset-backed security conferences, including the Frank Fabozzi Information Management Network ABS Conference and Strategic Research Institute/ASF Conferences.
