Mr. Seth Johnson

Council Member Biography

Seth Johnson was a Professor at Chapman University from 2008 to 2009. Prior to this, Mr. Johnson was Chief Executive Officer of Pacific Sunwear from 2005 until 2006. Pacific Sunwear is a $1.4 billion teen retailer with over 1000 stores. Previously Mr. Johnson was the CFO of Abercrombie & Fitch from 1992 until 1998 and COO from 1999 to 2004. In his roles at Abercrombie & Fitch he was involved in the growth of the business from 30 stores and $85 million of volume to volume of over $2 billion. He also helped manage the successful launch of 3 new concepts, as well as the IPO of the company. Mr. Johnson currently sits on the Board of Directors of True Religion and Tilly's.
