Mr. Shreenath Shastry

Council Member Biography

Shreenath Shastry is the Chief Executive Officer at KBJ Group, India since July 2011. Previously, Mr. Shastry was a National Director – Hospitality & Leisure at Knight Frank India Pvt. Ltd where he was responsible for handling a pan India team specializing in hospitality consulting. He has been in the hospitality and leisure industry since 1992 and has extensive experience in sales and marketing management with ROI accountability. Prior to Knight Frank, Mr. Shastry was General Manager – Sales & Marketing at Fariyas Hotels Limited managing multiple roles of sales, marketing and business development. He was part of the project team identified to source out properties to grow the number of hotels in the group, and to direct all advertising, sales promotion and market research activities. Mr. Shastry has also held the position of Head - Sales & Marketing at Radhakrishna Hospitality Services Pvt. Ltd, a leading Food Services Company operating in 19 states and over 400 sites in India. He was responsible for building a new sales and marketing team by carving out a functional department in a predominantly operationally driven environment. Mr. Shastry holds an MBA from Xavier Institute of Management, and a Masters Degree in Marketing Management from Bombay University. (This is me - Update Profile)
