Stacy Baird is an attorney with extensive experience on intellectual property, information technology, entertainment, and telecom as staff to Members of U.S. Congress. As Senior Policy Advisor and Technology and Intellectual Property Counsel to U.S. Senator (and former Real Networks executive) from Washington State (and previously, House IP subcmte), he addressed copyright, patent, trademark, trade secret, privacy, issues impacting IT, Internet regulation (incl. ICANN), consumer electronics, entertainment, telecommunications (including radio spectrum), media industries, consumer protection, education technology and immigrations, privacy, identity theft, banking, financial lending and credit reporting. He provides business strategic planning, public policy and government relations consulting to IT, entertainment, and new media and internet businesses. He is, since November 2010, an Executive Director, Intellectual Property Program at US-China Clean Energy Forum, and is also a Senior Consultant to Big Picture International.
