Dr. Steven Weinstein MD

Council Member Biography

Steven Weinstein, MD, is the Director of Allergy and Asthma Specialists Medical Group and Research Center, California. He also holds an academic appointment as Clinical Professor of Allergy and Immunology in the Department of Medicine, at the University of California, Irvine, School of Medicine. Dr. Weinstein has been the principal investigator for over 200 clinical trials involving asthma, allergies and respiratory disorders. His findings have been published in leading medical journals, and he has lectured both nationally and internationally. Dr. Weinstein is a Consultant on drug development and participates on the Speaker's Bureau of major pharmaceutical companies. This year, he completed service as President of CRN/Allergy and Respiratory LLC, a network of premier respiratory clinical researchers. He is active on a variety of committees of the AAAAI and has served as President of the Western Society of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and Orange County (CA) Society of Allergy.
