Sudhir Gupta is a Consultant at Gen Next Business Consultants, India where has worked since January 2009. In this role he provides consultancy in the field of power generation. He also served as an Independent Consulant Orkla Asia Pacific, since January 2009. In this role he serves a regional representative for identifying of potential investment targets in FMCG sector for products like processed food, dairy, biscuits, fruit juices, personal care etc. Previously, he has worked as Country Representative – India at SN Power AS from January 2003 to December 2008. SN Power is Hydropower Company and is a commercial investor, developer and operator of hydropower projects in emerging markets. Here, he was responsible for formation of business strategy, business planning and its implementation. He was also responsible for acquisition of hydro power projects in India and development of new business opportunity for hydro power investments and transmission projects. Mr. Gupta has also worked as Country Representative – India for Statkraft SF . Statkraft is Europe's largest generator of renewable energy. In this role, he was responsible for sourcing and developing investment opportunities in new hydropower projects. Mr. Gupta other positions include Country Manager – India for Kvaerner Energy (Specialized hydro turbine manufacturer) and Sr. Manager (Power Projects) at J K Industries.
