Council Member Biography

Tom Botts is the Managing Partner at Hudson Crossing, a strategic advisory practice dedicated to the travel industry. Mr. Botts has more than 20 years of experience in the travel industry. Previously, he was the Vice President of Global Travel Industry Sales and Strategy at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide. In this role, Mr. Botts led a sales and marketing team responsible for revenue generation across multiple distribution channels. Prior to joining Starwood, he was responsible for the Air product at Hotwire.com, now a subsidiary of Expedia. Mr. Botts also led a cross-functional product team encompassing technology, business, and marketing. He began his career with Delta Air Lines, where he held roles of increasing responsibility in customer service, technology, revenue management and e-commerce. During his early career with Delta, Mr. Botts pioneered the use of bar-coded boarding passes which have since been embraced by much of the airline industry. (This is me - Update Profile)
