Tom DeMott is currently Chief Operating Officer at Encore Associates, a food and beverage consultancy firm. Previously, Mr. DeMott served as Vice President of Perishables for Safeway, where he was responsible for procurement and involved in the acquisitions of Dominick's, Randalls, and Vons. He has worked on assignments with Albertson's and King Soopers, a division of Kroger. Mr. DeMott is an expert in perishable category management (meat, produce & seafood) at retail.
