Tugba Kalafatoglu is the President of Tugba Kalafatoglu & Associates, a global management and public affairs consulting firm, in Turkey. She uses integrated communications strategies,conflict resolution, and promotion of product sales and services as her tools. Ms. Kalafatoglu has advised politicians on message development and campaign strategies,implementing foreign policy and business leaders on global marketing and communication issues and cross cultural leadership. She served as CEO of Capital Consulting, Director of the Council for Community and Legislative Relations at UNO; International Project Director at Washington Times;Legislative Analyst at Legi-Slate Washington Post. Turkey to scrap tax for foreign investors | www.ft.com

Potentially, Turkey is an appealing country for global investors. But despite numerous advantages, Turkey has not received considerable FDI flows in the past decade.
With the changing economic and political settings in Turkey, there is now more room for global entrepreneurs and the corporate sector to take initiative.  Most importantly, negotiations with EU stimulates FDI inflows to Turkey. Now dropping the 15 per cent withholding tax makes Turkey more attractive  than ever for FDI.
