Council Member Biography

Wade Sunada, PhD, is a Managing Consultant with Life Science Strategy Group (LSSG) with over 5 years of life sciences consulting experience. Dr. Sunada's functional expertise includes pre- and post-launch product planning, diagnostics opportunity assessments, medical device technology assessments, licensing and partnering strategy, reimbursement strategy, and business planning. His therapeutic area expertise includes diagnostics, medical devices, oncology, ophthalmology, dermatology, neurology, inflammatory diseases, infectious diseases, vaccines, and cardiology. Recently, Dr. Sunada has been the lead consultant on numerous diagnostic consulting and market research projects including a US & EU Assessment of Sepsis and Hospital-Acquired Infection Screening Assays and Situation Assessment of the US Nucleic Acid Testing (NAT) Market. Prior to LSSG, Dr. Sunada was a Managing Consultant with Navigant Consulting's Life Science practice. Dr. Sunada obtained his Ph.D. from UC-Berkeley and UC-San Francisco in Bioengineering.
