Walter Carlini, MD, PhD, is a General Neurologist at the Medford Neurology Clinic in Oregon. Previously, Dr. Carlini was a General Neurologist at Medford Neurological and Spine Clinic. His clinical interests include stroke, epilepsy, migraine, dementia, movement disorders, and multiple sclerosis. Dr. Carlini has expertise in clinical neurophysiology and in the use of botulinum toxin injections to treat a variety of neurologic disorders. He is actively involved in clinical research studies and has served as a Principal Investigator in over 60 phase I-III clinical trials spanning a wide range of neurologic disorders, including Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, stroke, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, migraine, and neuropathies. Dr. Carlini is well versed in the use of implantable electronic devices to treat a number of neurologic conditions and he also performs intraoperative neuro-physiological monitoring of select neurosurgical patients.
