Mr. Walter Gerardi

Council Member Biography

Walter Gerardi is a Director at McLennan Magasanik Associates. Mr. Gerardi is experienced in economic, financial and regulatory analysis in the electricity, gas and primary industries. He has assisted organisations understand the supply and demand for electricity throughout the states of Australia. Mr. Gerardi has also advised on the National Electricity Market Code using a model of the wholesale energy market for the eastern seaboard of Australia. These assignments have assisted electricity suppliers, cogeneration proponents, investors and government agencies assess the opportunities and risks associated with buying or building assets. He has completed assignments on greenhouse gas emissions and producing electricity from bagasse and coal bed methane. Before joining MMA, Walter worked with the Australian Bureau of Agricultural and Resource Economics. (This is me - Update Profile)
