Dr. William Romanchick

Council Member Biography

William Romanchick, PhD, is a Professor at Georgian Court University & Ocean County College in New Jersey, teaching General and Organic Chemistry and continues to consult to the specialty chemicals and water treatment industries. As an Assistant Vice President of Research at BetzDearborn, Dr. Romanchick led all synthetic, scale-up, and analytical research for treatment programs to water treatment, paper process, and hydrocarbon process industries. Since 1998, he was Global Director of Product Technology for the BetzDearborn Division of Hercules and Global Polymer Strategy Leader and Tolling Leader after this division became GEBetz. Dr. Romanchick has expertise in cooling, boiler, and power generation systems, and the chemicals that are used to treat them. He has extensive experience in finding and approving toll and contract manufacturers in Europe, Latin America, and Asia Pacific. Dr. Romanchick holds a BS from Virginia Military Institute and an MS and a PhD from the University of Pennsylvania. (This is me - Update Profile)
