Does the low percent of Hard Red Spring wheat heading have an impact on end stocks to use and price? This present MGEX Weekly Wire discovered there was one other year when the percent of wheat heading was less and presents timely data.

USDA did present the first details of supply and demand for Spring and Durum wheat in its July WASDE report. 2011-2012 end stocks to use for Durum wheat are tight and the second lowest dating back to 1995. Durum Wheat (pasta) 2011 plantings are not going well. There are two states which plant the majority of the U.S. production. There are other nations which plant, use and export durum and you can decide if weather is a problem in 2011.
