A smaller player than rival Huawei Technologies, ZTE is making steady progress on its own terms. The telecom equipment maker recently revealed its goal for 2010: sales to reach $15 billion (RMB105 billion), which looks like a tough call on the basis of midyear performance and increasing challenge at home and abroad.
