Data: Information Technology's Next Greatest Challenge
March 9, 2011
2011 State Of Storage Survey | www.informationweek.com
The amount of data generated continues to grow at 20% or more each year. While new storage hardware can adequately record all this information, we are losing control of the data itself. The current solution of simply adding more storage capacity perpetuates the issue. The better long term answer is to understand and control our information. Some solutions like de-duplication from EMC, Symantec, and Falconstor provide some relief, but not nearly enough to overcome this issue.

Federal Reserve and Debit Interchange
December 20, 2010
Last week, The Federal Reserve issued their initial rules regarding the Durbin amendment, which was passed by the US Congress as part of the Dodd-Frank bill in July, 2010. There will be an opportunity for public comment with final rules to be issues in late April 2011. Response to Frank Voisin's investment analysis of Skechers
December 17, 2010
Investment Analysis: Skechers U.S.A., Inc. | www.gurufocus.com
Mr. Voisin's analysis that Skechers is currently valued correctly by the market is an accurate one and may not even go far enough. I would further suggest that Skechers is poised for even further weakness for three reasons. First, Toning is mainly a fad which is on the way out. Second, Skechers current arrangements with their retailers will harm them in the future. Finally, Skechers inventory is not only heavy but drastically overvalued. For these reasons, Skechers is still a company to avoid.
