Wal-Mart has definitely shaken up the Grocery Industry again with their latest Rollback Price Program. Coming off of their unsuccessful Project Impact Program Wal-Mart needed to make a bold move. What better than to go with their old bread and butter Rollback Pricing Program. What Wal-Mart has been able to accomplish with Rollback Pricing on key items in key Categories has been amazing. We will see large Market share gains by the CPG vendors that Wal-Mart has selected as Rollback items.
Where Is The Outrage toward BP From Seafood and Fisheries

We read daily about the failures of BP to stem the tide of the horrific oil spill, and we see story after story about the seafood industry participants going bankrupt. Where are the watch dog agencies, the nature conservationalists and government agencies? Why do we not have Greenpeace steaming their ships into the Gulf in protest. We are watching the entire Gulf coastal producing regions suffering what may be a death blow, and yet it is the quietest catastrophe in recent memory.

In a recently released report on the state of the USA fisheries, our combined efforts are showing great results. NOAA's report card for 2009 is in and we have received good marks, not great but far better that one thought possible not but a short time ago. Now the efforts need to continue as well as we must get the other world fisheries regulators and industry leaders to follow our example.
